Evening classes

The Madrassah (Idara Falahul Muslimeen) started in the year 2001 and has since been holding evening classes for boys and girls from the age of 4+ . The classes run for approximately 2 and a half hours, Mon-Fri between 4.45pm to 7.15pm.

Children are taught from the Arabic alphabet and gradually build themselves until they can recite the Holy Qur`an fluently, aswell as learning Surahs from the Holy Qur`an by heart.

Children are also taught various other subjects such as:
  • Aqīdah (Islamic Beliefs)
  • Seerah of the Prophet (S.A.W)
  • Stories of the Prophets
  • Fiqh
  • Akhlāq (Etiquettes)
  • Daily Duās

Currently, the classes are running at full capacity with no space to accommodate further children, and we already have an increasing waiting list.

Ālimah Class

We also hold Ālimah classes for girls aged 11+ who are given a chance to study Islam in extra detail. They are taught various subjects which include:
  • Arabic Grammar
  • Syntax
  • Morphology
  • Fiqh
  • Hadith
  • Quran with its
    translation and
    explanation
These classes also run for 2 and a half hours Mon-Fri between 4.45pm to 7.30pm and on Saturdays from 10.00am to 1.00pm.
These classes are taught by qualified female teachers and the demand for this is also growing, however in the current state, we are struggling to find space to accommodate further classes.

Classes for Teens

We also have classes running for teenagers who are approaching the end of their school years or have enrolled in college/University. These classes are run for an hour a day, Monday-Friday, between 7.20pm and 8.20pm.

The teens are taught contemporary issues which will occur in college and university life, as well as Fiqh, Seerah of the Prophet (S.A.W) Biographies of the Sahāba/Sahābiyyāt and the Holy Quran. There is also a great demand for this, but the current situation does not allow to cater for any more students.
